People helping people.
BECU is a not-for-profit credit union established in 1935 by a group of Boeing employees who wanted to help folks buy the tools they needed to get hired during the Great Depression. More than 80 years later, BECU is still guided by that credit union philosophy of “people helping
people.”
The Headquarters in Tukwila, including both a retail branch and workplace, was renovated to reflect the spirit of BECU today - a member experience that reflects what their members want and need from their financial institution. The IA design team partnered with BECU’s branding agency, Phinney Bischoff, to conduct user-testing, and visioning sessions with BECU leadership, to define the desired member experience. As a result, the renovation reflects fresh, modern, confident, and timeless, reflecting where BECU has been and where they are headed.
